It seems that some committee or something wants to look at banning gay kissing on TV etc, and that David Cameron is known to support the move.

It perhaps is a bit less than he himself calling for it but there does seem to be a base to the story.

David Cameron's doing a great job of guaranteeing himself another term... The media will jump on it and crucify him as a homophobe.

stuttering and at a loss on the topic or his own feelings as to the issue,it said everything as to his real thinking as to it and also how very uncomfortable he found himself even just talking about it.

This TV thing is a silly avenue to go down on,whether we are straight or gay we all have likely contacts and friends who are opposite to our sexual orientation in our lives.
I know many of my student friends who confide in and trust their gay friends, male and female more than they can or do their straight friends.
It is nonsense to treat this as a taboo subject and censor things like kissing on a fictitious programme or a sexy, raunchy dance routines by singers on TV.

I am not offended by any of it.
As long as nothing is explicit and no one is saying, all you watching must do as we do, then it's wrong to attempt to stigmatise anyone.

If something looks offensive to individuals on TV then switch over, for goodness sake we have more channels than ever now, this is just about the last thing Cameron should be bothering about and really most of it I believe is borne out of his and others personal prejudices.

This is why I laugh when ******* who read the Daily Mail (and those who write for it) decry the state of the post-Thatcher Tory party as some sort of blemish on 'true conservatism' hijacked by political correctness to attack our civil liberties.

The truth is their philistine, 'concerned-parent' agenda has never changed. Only this time around there is more bread and circuses, more apathy and more lies (if that were at all possible).

David Cameron... a true blue.
