I dont understand how they can ban people for smoking over other things like I dont like seeing really obese people in public eating because it makes me feel sick but they wouldn't ban that would they.
So why do smokers get penalised?

Its because they own the parks
so no more butts
or stinking smokers in there soon.

if they wanted us to stop smoking they would, but as vicky said, they make too much tax from it. stopping people from smoking outside isn't going to help anyone's heath that much, is it?

No you will still be hooked
but not able to Smoke in Every place.

On London Local TV News
they showed many that want the NYC Law
over here.

For Example
The South Banks Arts area was
viewed and they now Ban Smoking Inside and Outside
The Bars and Food hall.

Times Are Changing.

Exhaust fumes do not.

Firstly, exhaust fumes do most certainly cause health problems. Secondly, Obesity causes MUCH more of a strain on the NHS (I understand this particular thread concerns the USA, but I'm not in the USA...) and whereas sugary, fatty food is not taxed to the hilt, tabacco is. Tobacco tax raises around the same amount of revenue as it costs to run the NHS annually. Wonder who's going to make up the shortfall when everyonel gives up smoking?

They dont stop smoking all together because then there would be so much illegal trading of them it would be unreal. The only possibility weed may become legal is because of this reason. It is a gateway drug. People buy weed and then drug dealers convince them to bigger things and thats how it gets out of control. If they made cigarettes illegal this would happen much more and England's/Anywheres drug culture would grow rapidly.

No InOne
while I am on the South Banks Arts Area
Outside Eating Top Food place down stairs,
you can go down a Alley near it, to puff away,
then come back to the Food.

Case Solved.
