I think it's a shame the BB producers don't have the courage to show more normal footage of Alex. Like the OP suggested, and i've also argued, most of her footage is stimulated by BB. I can imagine at the end of the series, when they make her highlights package, it'll be 80% concocted from the silly stuff a bunch of middle aged, suit wearing Producers sat around a table and thought it'd be funny to have her do.

There are plenty of funny conversations with Alex and other H.M's as there are clips of her joining in with spontaneous fun....if people choose to ignore these, that's up to them.....

Yeah, in patches, but nowhere near the quantity of most others. I'm sure i've watched entire episodes were she hasn't been heard from at all, or maybe got 30 secs footage max.

Yes...which is the whole point of the thread and saying that BB is ensuring airtime for Alex......they are indeed not..if anything she has had to take a backstage to all the dramas.....not that it's been a problem..she's entertaining enough to more than make up for that..

LOL...this thread is so gasping for life...you could say that of all the H.M's...if BB didn't 'create' situations there wouldn't be much to watch...giving them alcohol is creating scenarios...just so happens Alex doesn't drink so she's never made a t*t of herself...hardly a negative imo..most of the H.L shows are made up of 'couples'.....also tedious viewing...and yes that does push Alex out a bit...which is why it's brilliant she's still managed to be so entertaining...she's a natural..

They have been proven to mess around with shots like this year after year... HMs are moved around in and removed/ added to shots all the time, to make it look like the room was empty when it wasn't etc.

The depth of the digital manipulation that happens on this show would shock most, even those aware of 'edits'.

For instance, BB could have easily have added Jem into that shot of her walking through the bathroom and looking at them while Faye and Aaron were having their talk. I am not saying they did, but that is exactly the kind of manipulation that's common to get a desired reaction from the more excitable viewers.

This is the reason I campaign for LF whenever I can. It might not be watched by million, and some may find iot boring, but it is always watched by someone which helps keep BB more honest.
