The X Factor - USA Season 3 of the US X Factor started Sept 11th 2012, and was shown on FOX in the US and ITV2 in the UK, and ran to December. The judges were Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio. Discuss in this sub-forum.

Yeah I did, anyway back on topic... Astro being in the bottom 2 did suprise me but I don't like him, I don't think he is good enough.

I think he was put in the bottom 2 as a punishment for breaking a rule the headphones weren't approved by Dr. Dre headphones so on his online performance this week they were blurred out and it couldn't be blurred live so producers put him in bottom 2 vs Stacey who was the lowest vote getter probably

Ha ha I love how people saying that he was put in the bottom two because it would bring ratings when the truth is he was punished and he found out y he was in the bottom 2 he was mad

He's a one trick pony.

I'd like him to ACTUALLY sing just all the way through for once. He won't last long in this show.

Which personally doesn't bother me. Less competition for Josh.

The more I think about it the more I think something fishy happened.

When he first found out he was bottom two he was humble and even said "Don't be sad, Hip Hop made it this far man". When he came back out he suddenly got annoyed and destroyed Simon. He may of found out what really happened backstage?

He's easily the most talented musician on the program. I've only watched one show (have hated the x factor for a good few years), and it was the one he was in the bottom 2 and kicked off at the judges (LOL). This reaction was one of the funniest things i've seen for a while but it's painfully obvious to me it was all a set up by Cowell to boost the ratings.

Couple of my best mates were in a band that got all the way to the judges houses in the UK version a couple of years back, and some of the stories they came out with about the nature of the show was laughable. I remember the day after they got back from Barbados (the judges houses) we all arranged to meet up for a few beers as i was looking forward to hearing about how they got on. It turned out that the producers made them film a "happy - we got through" scene, and a "sad - we got eliminated" scene, and told them they would inform them in the next couple of weeks if they made it or not. I just remember being absolutely stunned that a show with such a massive fanbase were allowed to con the viewing public like that. It's laughable really. I just don't understand why people still believe the show is real. The producers constantly trip over themselves.

Regarding the USA show, i'd imagine it is very much the same.

It wasn't completely for ratings Astro broke the rules he issued a apology multiple times and he alluded to the fact he wore those headphones when he wasn't supposed to because of Sony's sponsorship with the show Dr.Dre headphones aren't made by Sony
