And its hard to know what went on behind closed doors and super injunctions. There was obviously marital issues, family problems, abuse and distrust on all sides.

Having an affair doesn't make you a bad person. Having an affair with your partners sibling is taking things to an extreme. But she might still be a nice lady who got caught up in a love triangle that included a world famous soccer star.

Maybe she's just probably bumbling along feeling a bit stupid because of what she's done but trying to put things right without being controversial about it as much as is possible. She says that her relationship with Rhodri is better than before.

I agree with Pyramid that eight years deception is a hell of a lot of deception, but maybe she's not a very confident person and didn't really know how to deal with the situation? Everybody can find themselves trapped in things, and sometimes they last even longer than eight years, sometimes even a lifetime.

I did - in response to your comment that she's not some sort of evil ice queen. A person has to have a hard cold core to them to deceive someone they love, and marry (after the affair began) and continue the affair. That's my view. Having an 8 year affair doesn't make a person a good person in my eyes.

I totally agree with you. Having an affair with your husband's brother is pretty low in my estimation. That's her claim to fame! Perhaps we do all make mistakes but she's obviously got very morals and I hope she's out early.

firstly the claim she has had an affair with her brother in law for 8 years is a misnoma. she only been married to rhodri for 6 months when she broke this story? before that she wasnt married? she isnt a celebrity whatsoever and she shouldnt be in there. then again neither should nearly everyone else. personally Ive only ever heard of madsen, gareth thomas and denise welch (the girl off eastenders ((a dreadful show)) I just about recognise but didnt know her name) if you want a real celebrity then youd really just be left with madsen and thomas (100+ rugby caps is a serious achievements)

There are very few black and whites in life. And things are always easy to judge when sitting outside looking in and placing blame.

There was 5 people involved in this affair, that we are allowed talk about, not including the kids. 4 of which were screwing around. Thats a pretty messed up situation.

You don't marry a man when you are having an affair with his married brother: and most certainly you don't marry the guy and keep continuing with the affair. That's my take on it - you find all the excuses in the world for her but I'm more than happy with my understanding of the word 'decent', and never could I regard her as a 'good egg'.

ryan giggs on the other hand, even if he has had several girlfriends at once. Its NONE of my business because he hasnt maade it my business. he has ALWAYS been the most private sports star ever. no celebrity interviews, no chat shows, nothing. just football interviews. as a professional hes simply the most successful british player ever, one club role model and never sent off for man utd in 894 matches. extraordinary. hes raised tens of millions for charity and hes a great father and everyone loves him. the fact hes stayed private for me has earned him even more respect in my eyes

I don't get the Romeo nomination of her for not being a celebrity. That really made me think less of Romeo as well as the production team. That simply should not be allowed as a reason to nominate. Either way though, I notice a few posts in this thread saying having an affair does not make you a bad person, well I disagree with that, I think it does make you a bad person, to me it shows that you are selfish and don't have any problem destroying families and hurting those closest to you.
