I used to be obsessed with buying them, I won quite a lot of times too, my mum always wins.

There was once when I only had £2 and I bought my mum two scratch cards and she won on both of them

I play lottery on line so if I win a a tenner or less, I buy they a scratch card online, never bother checking to see if the money has been won.

I have never bought a scratchcard before, I have played the lottery many times - no wins though.

Quite a lot of people I know win on them regularly, small prizes though.

Talking of winning I got a letter today telling me I had won 25 quid in su-duko puzzle (and it was actually someone else that told me the answer)

I bought five scratchcards and didn't win, FFS, I blame the people in this thread who keep saying they always win, it was the only reason why I bought it How the **** can you always win

No. I used to buy a lot and only every won £1 on £1 cards, or £2 on £2 cards. So it was utterly pointless. I'm not even totally convinced that 'real' people win the big prizes. I think a lot of them go to plants.

scratch cards are a rip of. done afew times only ever won a pound back.too easy too lose your cash i prefer fun betting

funny no matter what shop go to or pass theres always a woman outside scratching away with a pram nearby

Used to buy them all the time in 6th form. When I was going through my gambling phase playing poker and betting all the time.

So glad I stopped all that as they're pretty much a waste of money. The most I ever won was £15.

Never bought one myself... but when I was younger my mum would get one whenever she took me to the post office... she'd always let me do the scratching, and I remember one time we won £50 and she spent it on some toys for me and lunch out
