But her "class" is a total affectation and, under pressure (which is when true nature tends to show), the fake classiness disappears.

See your point but I think class comes in many forms.

Like when she had the argument with Hazel she made the point you shouldn't call someone ugly.

I've found her genuine at heart and in her relationships with others there are some lines she just doesn't cross.
