All I can say with his reducing of odds with the bookmakers, people have foolishly lost money on betting for him to go.

Favourites with the bookies often are not the front runners whether it be on a game show or even their speciality Horse racing.

It is why I take not a bit of notice of them really.

The bookies often get it wrong on VTS/VTW, so we probably need take not too much notice of the winner odds.

Just vote for who has entertained you and don't bother what anyone else is doing.

Who did the bookies have as fav to go? Sophie or Charlie?

I put £1 Dexter a while back and thought I had lost it, but he is back in with a chance
now although Sam is still fav, most have #dexter as 2-1 but Ladbrokes one of the biggest bookies have him 13/8 with Sam 11/8

The odds for Sam, Sophie and Charlie were very close and changing slightly all the time.

Far to close to call. I bet there wasn't much between any of those 3 in the voting.

Cocky: Adjective meaning conceited or arrogant, esp. in a bold or cheeky way.

I'd say it was the Sam supporters being condescending through rude arrogance. Pointing out that Sam has stayed in a 'yeh m8 who's got egg on ther face' chirlish manner is provocative and anyone who is a supporter and complaining OTHER people are the rude ones are rather stupid.

Apparently there was only a 2% difference between the first to go and second to first. Sam might have only had a lucky escape afterall.

I would have though Sam would have been safe, that is what this article indicates

Quote:
Ladbrokes have installed Sophie as the narrow 5/4 favourite going into this evening’s live show.

She leads Charlie who is not that far behind at 7/4, while the twins are not at all safe with odds of just 2/1.

Only Sam can relax, with the bookmakers making him the 33/1 outsider.
So unless the odds changed later in the day (which I doubt) he must have been safe as expected.

They have Sam as fav to win, but they do not always get it right, they got it wrong with Hazel for a few weeks and they also got the winner of The Voice wrong and she was 5-1 on which is very short. I actually backed the winner on the night at odds of about 8-1 IIRC.

I tend to either get it badly wrong or get the winner, so I feel fairly confident with Dex in second place.

I think I might put a bet on Sam such that I recover the money I put on Dexter (£1 lol) if Dexter does not win. Can't see anyone else winning but you never know Gina might snatch it, she is about 4-1.

I will leave it to the final night to decide as things can change.

That is likely to change drastically by tomorrow. If he is less popular than the Twins (who are about 20-1 for the win) his current odds are unsustainable.
