There would be an outcry if candy cigarettes were introduced today. I used to get something similar to these above, and pretend to smoke with them, copying my peers. Moved onto the real thing when I was eight.

Nutty bars were lovely, fudge with roasted peanuts stuck on it
yankees, nougaty stuff with chocolate on.
Strypers, five fruity flavours in one bar.
pacers, like starburst but minty.
Spangles, all different flavoured boiled sweets.
toffos, original and assorted flavours.
Aw... lots of my faves were discontinued

There's a shop here that still sells all the sweets in the plastic tubs. I get Toffee Crumble everytime I go in there
