Nah it's another 'cheesy song' considering they are a totally different act to a Bryan Adams song (it's very well known btw, was top of the charts for 16 weeks) or that might have been another Bryan song idfk. Thing is with Sam B.. She has an incredible voice and it doesn't just happen she probably works just as hard as everybody else. And Leona sang mostly ballads when she was on the show and she even got quite boring so I don't see how Sam B singing power ballads is a bad move.

The show has evolved since then, look at the type of acts that made live shows, they never would now.. nobody wants to see some older woman sing the most obvious song choice ever while just standing there nicely belting it out. BORING.

She had 3 performances, it was different... nobody had time to get bored of her, people will, with Sam, they'll chuck her under the bus when they realise Syco can't manage ****, especially somebody like her. Mary Byrne #2, and even then Mary went upbeat and gave us something different.

She won't win but I don't see how people can say she shouldn't be in the competition (people wishing bottom two) when she's doing an amazing job. Who's the say the UK wants just young acts to win. I think so, people will get bored with the performances no matter how good they are from her and this song is likely to just be another straight copy of Celine Dion's take on it.
It will no doubt be good but as you say predictable.

I really hope Abi does no mucking about with 'Moon River,I love that song and it demands respect for the way it was written to be sung.
