Well actually she does have to give reasons because Emma was asked by the director in her ear to ask her for some. Watch the clip back, she pauses for about five seconds and looks as if she's listening, then she asks for reasons. Presenters take some direction, they don't just think to themselves 'ah no I don't like that answer, give me some reasons'. It's her job to do as she is told
