In all honesty, I'm not sure if I would do it. Realistically, it could ruin your chances of a career. I think an employer would find it hard to take an ex BB contestant seriously, especially if it's for a prestigious job - Say a Teacher or a Lawyer? Unless you're absolutely certain you can make a career from it, or you just don't care about a career, it's too much of a risk. Plus, BB doesn't make it's contestants famous anymore; they can't make a celeb career from being on big brother. If contestants were to become celebrities in their own right, I'd do it... Not because I want fame, but because at least then you'd have some financial stability and wouldn't really need a 'normal' career.

![]() However, I think it's fair to say the conception of Big Brother has drastically changed since being with C5. It's become even tackier and cheaper. Admittedly, they're making improvements, but it's going to take awhile until it's back in it's glory days... It will get there, though. Maybe not in terms of ratings, but it definitely will in terms of quality. I think C5 contestants have the odds stacked up against them to have either a celebrity career or a career along the lines of a lawyer/teacher ect. |

A case where a vote to save really didn't do it's job in the final.

Gogglebox’s George Gilbey has been linked to the upcoming Celebrity Big Brother 2014 line up.
The 29-year-old has become a favourite on Channel 4′s hit show and now Channel 5 are reportedly keen to pinch him for CBB this summer. According to the Daily Star newspaper today, George has been invited for talks with Big Brother bosses to agree a deal to appear on the new series. “Ever since the new series of Gogglebox, fans have been calling on Channel 5 to grab one of them for Celebrity Big Brother,” a source claimed. “George would be the butt of all jokes, but he has the good humour to take it well.” Channel 5 refused to comment on the rumours, although a source told the tabloid: “The line-up has not yet been finalised.” Read more: http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/big...#ixzz32RDl2SiK Follow us: @tellymix on Twitter | tellymix on Facebook |
