I used to ask every single customer for their clubcard and then they'd respond with a no and then I'd finish off the transaction and then they'd say OH I FOUND IT.

i used to work in argos for a bit that was funny. id serve on the till people were so nice then id go of to help on the colelction point and the same nice people i served before were suddenly tossers lol

I had a few people come to the till with big packs of things which hadn't been unpacked when they were put on the shelves. So they bought them thinking it was a multi-pack with a good deal but then you have to explain that it's individual and that they are retarded.

lmao I had this woman the other week who picked up a display model baking thing and I kept having to try explain to her that I couldn't sell it and she was like "WELL WHY IS IT ON THE SHELF IF ITS NOT FOR SALE?"

Two summers ago my cousin needed help in his convenience store, I was at the till/counter on my own and because I don't know the names of the different cigarette packet varieties I'd have to ask the customer to point and guide me with their hand it was so embarassing, the customers would occasionally get pissed off
