It's based on how we have seen her Helen react when she thinks she has been 'mugged' off, even when it's feck all to do with her.

What makes me laugh is Helen and someone else saying it was awkward and he didn't have to do that....we'll perhaps if they hadn't given him a hard time over it...he wouldn't have had to make a grovelling apology.

5.28pm: Marlon has said sorry for pushing the button. Most housemates seem to have accepted his apology for now. #BBUKLive

Saying 'he didn't have to do that' is a compassionate thing to say.

She is the only one, out of the entire group, that is looking at him like she is plotting his murder in her head.

Cherie they still all drained the battery for selfish reasons, none of them were interested in how many chances there would be to replenish the energy and none of them asked what kind of thing would need to be done to get energy back or who would have to do it.

I don't really get how people are saying what Marlon done was selfish when every single one of the housemates done it.

Josy, The HMs were told how much the battery would be drained by for each App they chose and they only had to keep 1 per cent, Marlon knew he was draining the battery completely, none of the other Apps did that.

That's your interpretation.... She hates most of them in there. What has Marlon ever done for her? He is just a sexist pig...why should she look at him in any other way.

They had a minute to discuss it and he pressed the button 2 seconds in .He decided to save himself so he should suck it up and stop grovelling to the others, he was to chicken to face the public vote on Friday .

It was all still for selfish reasons that they drained the battery though?

Marlon's was for a much more important reason that some of the others, Winston and Mark for an example.

He wasn't grovelling he was apologising to try and stop the house from feeling awkward.

I know how soon he pressed the button, good for him because one of them was bound to press it regardless of what they say now.

That's maybe to do with the fact he's been isolated and attacked since he saved himself from eviction..

Would you be saying the same thing if one of the others had saved themselves?

Marlon had already been saved last week, so he was selfish as well, saving himself two weeks running, he is not that great a HM anyway he learned a good life lesson there.

What argument?

Marlon pressed the button after 2 seconds. He saved himself from eviction, an eviction that he would probably have went in too. Well done to him.

Doesn't make him scum or any of the other names he has had thrown at him since doing it.
