They call it WC in Portugal too, but I never hear people use that term in Ireland.

If I am downstairs it is the cloakroom, upstairs if is my en-suite, if I am in a pub I look for the loo, if I was visiting friends etc I would ask where the toilet is.
Oh yeah, and in an emergency I would use the bathroom. |

When I was really young and we used to go somewhere in the car I used to think all of the 'To Let' signs for properties were public toilets. True story
