Cami was showing them all some dance moves. I'm not sure where she was saying she used to do the dance moves but she said she was "the only white girl there" or something along those lines.
Michelle interrupted and said, "except you're not white, you're Latino"

Cami seemed to agree with her and continued her story.

Hopkins seemed to find what Michelle said amusing and mimicked her saying "except you're not white"

The conversation about dance moves then continued.

Good one Spoon, I totally agree. It hadnt even crossed my mind to think that the lass was any different than a CBB contestant. At the same time a friendly conversation is just that and obvious facts are debated. Just the art of living

In America latinos call themselves "brown". It is interesting that Cami called herself white, even though she has stressed her latin heritage a lot on the show. there are many white americans in Puerto Rico (because it is a US territory), so maybe her parents are both white, but because she was born in puerto rico she considers herself latin. but racially, i would assume she was a white chick if i just saw her walking down the street.

Latino is not a race. Its a linguistic group. There are latinos who are white, mestizo, asian, native, black. You name it and its right there in Latin America.

Latino Americans arent really a singular group despite what most would have you believe.
There demographic is broken down into verious categories like White Latinos Black Latinos or Latino other meaning descendents of the indigenous peoples of South America . Cami is definitely white Latino she has a Mediterranean look to her.
