There is no bar, he is funny as a fact and even that aside Big Brothers editing alone is creating the perfect punchlines for a lot of the hilarity surrounding him. If you can't step back and look at the show from a perspective with no bias then you won't ever like Perez or appreciate the humour surrounding him. The point is as a person sure he's detestable but as a housemate he's TV gold and the very definition of the perfect housemate as someone who goes in to play the game and win.
Despising someone for an impartial opinion is sad and I say that as someone who hated Perez with a passion in week 1/2. The people with any brains will be able to take a step back though and look at the bigger picture which most of the populous (like you) is incapable of doing at least by the standard of his popularity. He is no James Jordon, not by a long shot, that guy was a **** and yet he still unbelievably placed third.
Good to see there are some people changing their minds (looking at the statistics though) particularly that the 8% Michelle is missing is now with Perez. She was alright to begin with mind you but she's allowed herself to become too much of a groupie over being her usual lone wolf/pack leader self.
