I remember BB3, and Jade was despised, and she only picked up support towards the end as a reaction to the overwhelming hatred. The ensuing rise to fame and popularity was due to the public feeling extreme guilt for being so dismissive of her, and allowed everyone to feel good about making a quite unpleasant character welcome in popular culture.

As for this new hate having anything to do with Shilpa fans, that too is rubbish. Shilpas fans watch for Shilpa, not just so they can hate Jade. It just so happens that Jade is trying to use Shilpa as her new 'stepping stone' in life. No wonder Shilpa fans are aware of her(Jade).
