I don't think James has done anything so far for people to act like he's nice and chilled out and this and that. He's just there He was a huge wanker on the Apprentice and I think it's entirely relevant because his appearance on the show is why he was cast for CBB in the first place.

James' attitude on The Apprentice isn't really applicable to his behaviour in the house though, is it?! They're two different formats.

Yes, he could be selfish: but that's the business market. He had to be selfish and cover his own back to succeed.

The whole premise of The Apprentice often sees people think tactically in the boardroom - you identify people as being weak in order to remain in the competition. The other nineteen candidates did the same thing week in, week out. James wasn't alone in his attitude.

I have to agree. If the sole reason why someone is even on the show is irrelevant, then their status as a housemate is rendered pretty much invalid, isn't it?

The nature of the competition doesn't in any way excuse James being pretty dickish throughout the process, and it's certainly not the case that he merely behaved in the exact same way as every other contestant (or that the format of the show necessitated it).

He was overbearing and aggressive as Project Manager, and not simply in an 'effective PM' way, but in a "This guy is a knobhead" way. Plenty of contestants have gotten through the process without acting in the exact same way.

I also remember him admitting to cocking up in regards to certain aspects of his behaviour on You're Fired, so criticism of him on TA clearly isn't entirely unwarranted (but at the same time, I really respected him admitting to his faults and he was extremely more likeable on YF).
