If she was joking then no she shouldn't be punished, it's bit like mates having a laugh calling each other names but they wouldn't go to police about it would they, she wasn't talking tactically she was only messing and shouldn't be punished.

Honeslty why should she get the special treatment it was still talking about nominations and there if it was a joke or not then she should get a punishment.

i believe that one of the rules are dont discuss nominations which means dont say who you are going to nominate "even if it was a wee joke"

But that doesnt mean i dont like Shilpa its only fair and i would do the same if it was any other housemates like Danielle For Example as its the rules
Next you'll be wanting people to get punished for smiling or taking a dump.

You start nit picking at the smallest of nothings, then we'd be here all day saying people should be getting punished. It's just being magnified because she got away with it, luckily, last time.
Look rules are rules and just because she said it as a joke doesnt mean she should get let away with it she could of made other housemates feel he was anoying her cuausing them to nominate Dirk for being a pest towards shilpa which in this case makes it against the rules.

And no people can smile or take poo's but talking about nominations in any form, NO!
Rule break my butt, she didn't intend to sway anyones votes or force upon anyone to vote her. She only said jokingly I'm going to nominate you, tounge in cheek. Rule breaks are more major then that, think Nick.. thats a rule break!

If thats a rule break Saddam is obviously a reformed Christian and never really died. So pathetic!
So your telling me if Danielle had said that she was going to nominate someone is a joking way you would be Like OMG she should get a punishment

i just think it better to play by the rules

If anyone joked about it, i wouldn't give a toss tbh.

On the other hand if somebody sat down and talked about it in detail then yes, that is a definate rule break! I don't have a favourite and i don't entirely dislike Danielle and Jo, doesn't mean i would show favouritism towards a rule break, which is exactly what is happening in this thread.

No she did a rule break and fair is fair so therefore she should be punished because she mentioned nomo's in a conversation saying she would nominate him

She has been let of before with Carole and Cleo

Quite rightly so aswell because she didn't openly discuss it like the other two did.

I'm going to agree to disagree anyway, the debates near enough covered for me.

It would be ridiculous to ban someone from nominating for that. Housemates have joked like that in the past.

So Shilpa can be punished for a joke, but Danielle and Jo can't be punished for their "signs" about nominations. Wow.
