Because the arguments for the in campaign sound more beneficial from my POV. It really is that simple.

It is always worth remembering these words from 1918 they are as relevant now as they always have been but still foolish people fall for it.

That statement rings true to this day.

I'm voting 'out' for no other reason than I've looked at the facts and made a decision, on my own, with no one suggesting what I should think. I imagine most people - both 'in' and 'out' voters - will have done the same thing.

Absolutely Livia.

I shall be voting 'out' also.

OUT please , the whole project is a disaster and has failed in every conceivable way. The idea it can be reformed is a fantasy. Get out and hopefully others will be inspired to follow us and the norwegians and swiss out of this unelected undemocratic authoritarian dictatorship that will sell us all out to corrupt corporations forever.

the idiotic labour party allowed a net rise of 3.7 million immigration in 10 years, germany decided to use the 7 year rule to ensure immigration was slower over a longer period. the germans need immigration desperately as their population fell 2 million during the same 10 years. yet more facts ignored by the hysterical labour party...one day they will get a crayon set and try and join up the dots of their disastrous time in government.....

heres a start

sucking and covering up to nhs unions lead to complacency overpayments filth and patient abuse

exact same happene to social services and the police

sucking up to political correectness lead to 20,000 children being sexually assaulted in rotherham

sucking up to the republicans lead to illegal wars , which made the terrorist threats a zillion times worse

political correctness lead to millions more of healthy people on bebefits than should have been and encouraged the breed for benefits culture and produced a generation of millions devoid of ambition and wok ethic

womens rights superceded evetrything else, women only shortlists lead to dreadful mps getting in undemocratically

the push for womens rights on everything 24/7 pushed the disabled to the back of the queue too, disabled access for example has stalled for 20 years

this has also lead to the brakdown of the nuclear family and fathers have lost their rights

deregulated their city bankers and share brokers and the entire thing collapsed, no one was arrested

they did less than nothing for the industries and those left behind
they didnt even equip our brave soliders who had to buy kit off the yankee soldiers in the afghan deserts, what a disgrace
they had a spin doctor running the cabinet helping spout lies about weapons of mass distraction
they allowed gp doctors to opt out of working out of hours with an insane contract in 2004
they gave back our rebate to europe for nothing in return, signed an insane 70,000 word eu constitution without even reading it
they spent more hours debating fox hunting than the iraq war

the list goes on and guess what the money ran out....so labour had to pay somehow? ok so they decided they would invent 3000 new laws and infinite stealth taxes to steal the money off the working class....so council taxes rose and all time record levels over Ł2000 for houses work Ł250,000 yet the socialists marches in millions when maggie thatcher had poll tax at Ł90 a year?

they are mostly responsible for the disaster this country is in
they are an insane party

We were asked by a member to tell 2 things as to why we want to stay in,
That is what some have done and that is in answer to that question to that member.

What no one needs is more disrespectful lectures from you as to why they hold the stance of voting in or as to the 2 reasons they list.
I,only me personally, think you could maybe try to stop derailing every thread and looking for someone to annoy and argue with just to dismiss all they say as nonsense anyway.
It is getting rather tedious to say the least.

Typical serious debates, a thread asking people why they want to stay in the EU is overrun by pro-independence members, hounding those who believe the opposite to their opinion.

We didn't need a visa to travel anywhere in Europe prior to officially opening up our borders and that's very unlikely to change if we exit Europe

It has been asked on many political programmes as to the possibility of needing visas if we were to leave the EU.

We have always been a member of the EU,in fact we helped form the current EU as it is, with all we helped set up and agree to, and then the treaties both our major parties in govt have signed over the last 20+ years.

So what was there before in the very early 70s,way before even the EU was set up in its current form, is all changed.
They could I guess make it that visas are needed if we leave, or it may be as many have said that travel to and from Europe will cost more for the UK in other ways after leaving.

I guess a lot will depend on what all the other EU Nations feel and are prepared to accommodate the UK on,should the UK vote to leave.
Another uncertainty unfortunately.

EU members don't need a visa to travel to Norway or Switzerland so why would the UK be treated differently, you might need to apply to a work visa but not necessarily

However,Norway and Switzerland to trade with the EU also accept and agree to the free movement of EU citizens so that criteria is filled.

I didn't say there would be visas but we are actually talking, (at least some brexit people are), of possibly having visas for certain EU countries if we leave.

So it is not impossible if we don't still accept the free movement of EU citizens that in some way visas 'could' not 'will' be introduced by the EU to us and even from us to the EU or some Nations in the EU.

Its a relatively short time since we had the free travel agreement that is in place now ... maybe 15-20 years? Prior to that, there was no visa required.
