I found this an interesting point that Evelyn brought up. I am not too keen on her generally but I am glad she is calling Jackson out on his lies.
He did press the button for the 20k, he would have had to vote somebody out; it's the reality of the situation. During the first annihilation task, he made himself the mediator of the voting process trying to safeguard himself.
I think he has an arrogance about himself which showed especially in last night's ep when people nominated him, he got very defensive and seemed surprised that he is up for eviction, when everybody has an equal chance of being so. He cannot take any kind of criticism.
Also that weird high pitched laugh (whatever that is) makes me, at least, think that he's very nervous and unstable, which is why he gets himself in these situations where he will second guess Jason and then try to deny it.
I think he is very devious and he knows exactly what he is doing. And something that will become more apparent in the final week, if he survives Friday (hopefully not).
