I think he likes her...but he didn't want it set up as a romantic meal. He seems a really private guy and he really doesn't want anything to happen on TV and he is just avoiding an awkward situation.
Having said that as much as I find Alex the epitome of fence sitter...it was nice of him to pick Jason.

Very good friends ...and both say how great the other is and how good a connection they have.

Like her or dislike her, Vicky Pattison is very different in personality to Evelyn and Laura.....she's plain speaking, direct, not passive aggressive, witty with a self deprecating sense of humour and more like one of the lads than one of the girls. I wouldn't think Evelyn is Alex type at all.

It was a nice gesture from Alex proving he is not the spiteful type,he may be quiet but he does have some good qualities that are sadly lacking in most of them,as for Evelyn,she is like a love struck 12 year old,get some dignity woman.

Ah good it is going to give Alex some very very much needed airtime. Its funny how some people see this thing with Evelyn. I think Alex is hedging his bets. He can easily get out of bed and move, he can easily sit in the garden without draping his arm around her and pull her in for a cuddle, But is he doing it???? Nope. he is a pure and utter waste of space. He is afraid to say if he likes her or doesnt like her, he is afraid to speak to her about it. In all fairness its only in the past week or two Ev said she fancied him but she clearly said he didnt fancy her back until the likes of Laura and Latesyha kept saying to her that Alex fancies her also. She believed what theys aid. Herself and Laura shouldnt even be in the same sentence. Laura flashed everything she had, had explicit foreplay and sex within the first few days. If Ev wanted a showmance she would have been crawling into Alexes bed from the first few days. It took her weeks to even say she liked him. She is not behaving like a ***** or needy woman she is lying in bed with someone giving them a kiss cuddling them when they cuddle them.

I am glad Alex picked Jason as Jason is popular and Alex might get a few minutes of a highlight show
