I understand the viewers have to judge on the performances, but Lauren Platt like most of the acts that series was humiliated to make way for the Fleur show in Simon's eyes.

Lauren was clearly not a diva singer, yet was being given songs where she had to belt knowing that she couldn't sing that style of Music, it doesn't make her bad, it's just not her style, just like how OTY couldn't do Charli XCX.

And with Lauren Murray she suffered for being confident which The X Factor likes conceited personalities, plus Lauren Murray was more of an emotive performer than an actual vocalist imo.

I agree. Still can't get over her being robbed of her place in the final though. Its ridiculous to have a sing-off when there is 4 left, Lauren had the 3rd most amount of votes from the public so she should have been in the final.

Again, I agree. She put everything into her final performance and still lost out to Bland Chesterman. Awful.

Both would've been more acceptable winners than the ones we actually got as well because Lauren Platt would've promoted that you can sing subtle and actually win, and Lauren Murray promotes the actual raw performance element that the show never appreciates.

Lauren Murrays performance of You Don't Own Me didn't get enough love, it was the performance of the series.

I genuinely loved every single one of Lauren's performances though. (Even though we were robbed of her as she didn't have as many as she should have done for 4th place bc of the **** 7 week thing </3 )

Yeah Lauren was consistently good I always thought but production turned her into the 'female villain' (see: Misha B, Hannah Barrett) that year for a bit of PR so she was doomed.

Cheryl seemed to have no time for Lola though</3

I remember Lola's last week when they acted like Cheryl had worked with her so much and she was coming back with a bang and that it turned out Cheryl just had Lola's hair dyed

I think all of the judges had time for one person that year except for Louis because he didn't even like any of his acts

and I remember that

Wasn't Louis obsessed with the idea of kicking some of his band members out that year?

What did she sing on week 8?

Yeah he wanted to get rid of some because he hated the idea of having 8 members in one boy band but it didn't happen so it looked like he didn't really care lmao.

Oh wait. I've got it mixed up, IKWIB was her bottom 2 for Week 8, she was safe in Week 7. But in Week 8 she sang Clarity and Don't You Worry Child.

Lola was a poor Sam Bailey, and she was **** so it doesn't say much good things for Lola.

I was genuinely shocked when Cheryl put neither Lola or Kerianne in her top 3</3

She should have picked Lola, Kerianne and Lauren and then Chloe Jasmine should have been the wildcard.

2014 was such a weak line up besides Fleur though I thought. 2015 actually had a strong lineup but nearly everyone good went early on (Alien, Mason, Monica etc)

Omfg I only just realised that Olly told Monica she was going home before he was supposed to. I just thought he added up the judge's votes wrong and thought she had more to go - not that he knew she had been eliminated from the voting or whatever.
