Christmas is about a piss up for most people rather than the real meaning behind it

Beastie's right. Most people see Christmas as a party time, or a time to be with family. And no one's forcing anyone to join in the spiritual side of it... I'm not even a Christian and I love Christmas. But I don't think it's right to object to people celebrating the spiritual side, if that's what they feel. It's no one else's business.

Christmas is whatever you want to make of it.
I am not a church goer, or religious, however I love Carols from Kings, the Christmas Eve carol service on ITV and the New Year's Day concert from Vienna all the same.
The goodwill to all men (and women) sounds pretty good to me as well
Merry Christmas all.xx

I imagine less are going to church as less people are religious.

Or maybe people have gt sick of how moneygrabbing churches seem to be. Pretty sure I have told on here before about my grandma giving weekly and when she got ill, they sent her a letter asking for her cash donations to continue even though she could no longer attend. Bastards...

You do not need to visit a church to communicate with God. If thats your thing...
