Some reports have us as the sixth best Economy in the world right now, before Brexit we was fifth.

Not to mention that our pound is at the same price as the US Dollar on some Apple products, it could just be teething problems, but we haven't even triggered article 50 yet and we're already falling backwards financially and as that's the most important thing to any country's survival, we are headed in a bad direction.

Nope of course I am not repenting my vote, I thought long and hard over my reasons before voting. What's the point of regrets anyway, what's done is done no matter which way votes may go in any voting we do.

It just appears to me to be risking too much, why is the NHS and the US even being discussed? I feel like we're being sounded out for something that may happen in the not too distant future... Once we brexit I feel that the UK as we have known it or as brexiters envision it will vanish and all that will be left will be a 0hr rat race, a billionaires tax haven, another nations nuclear dump and frack central, again for the benefit of other nations.

Thatcher was right there is no such thing as society just obedient, compliant wage slaves whose only function is to be a drone until they die and replaced by another drone.

If you don' like being an 'obedient, compliant wage slave' go into politics. As I believe you said yourself talk is cheap.

The UK as we know it was changing, that was the whole point of Brexit for many - Hugh dissatisfaction with what was happening to our country. Brexiters did do something - they put their money where their mouth is.

I cringe whenever I see someone say 'remoaner' without a hint of irony.

I cringe at yet another boring referral to a daily newspaper and the old bigot and racist rhetoric.

No regrets and there is no evidence that it is a bad thing, just constant scaremongering.

Interesting discussion in Pmqs about the other thing you are constantly scaremongering about workers rights. Where the PM put that idiot Corbyn straight. BBC article today too about new rights being considered for new and pregnant mother's. And guess what we don't need the EU to tell us what to do.

So far we are doing well. No one can guarantee the whole trip will be smooth but it will be worth it.

Speaking of the press I'd suggest believing everything you read in the independent is a touch dodgy also.

It's a debate, if you don't want to participate that's fine.
I hear lots of 'we are going to do' but when the opportunity arises to act in parliament they do nothing...it's all just empty promises.

Do I believe everything I read in the independent? thanks I will come to you in future when I need to know what I'm thinking.

You are very welcome. You seem keen to tell others what to read. How am I not participating?

Nope... In your post you presume I only read the Independent, that is wrong.
I asked if anyone was wishing they had voted differently, you don't I see that, you have participated, thank you.

No you'll find I didn't say that. I said you wouldn't be wise to believe everything you read in it either.

I do appreciate your telling me what to do, Kizzy, however did I run my life without you?

Ah the Independent - nothing left leaning about that source of information then.

Do you just never read posts and make your own arguments instead? I thought you only did that with me, I'm hurt!

Who mentioned the Independant first?...not me.

This is a good example of fake news, the Independent was suggested by another poster and projected towards myself... You now presume all my sources are via there, they are not.

I still don't get how a very slim majority (most of the Brexiters being older generations) can dictate all of the terms to 48% of the country (which most of the Remainers being the younger generation) I know it's a very controversial statement that I'm making here but shouldn't there be some give and take in such a strong vote? Especially considering the younger generations will be living in a society that most of us didn't even ask for.

No one said anything about a great future being in the EU, just a stable one.

Speaking personally for myself, having the Tories having full control over this country terrifies me as I'm in the Working class spectrum and we all know how this party treats the working class and our Human Rights before the EU was how it is today, and even then it's still hard work for them to curb the Tories into following the basic Human Rights that the EU asks for us to follow.

Btw I'm not talking about the European Court of Human Rights as that's a seperate entity.
