You can see well enough from the back tbh. At least enough to see that he wasn't being deliberately threatening and, more importantly Nicola was NOT intimidated by him and DID deliberately act like she was in order to "rally" other people to her aid. Which is a pretty scummy thing to do but I would imagine a trick she's been using for most of her life.
