No I watched last year and have watched this series!

Usually I love both but would still always put BB first, but tonight's love island was much better than BB. The execution of everything they do is just so much more engaging and impactful in comparison

BB will always come first, and I've enjoyed this series lots (despite all the negativity people are giving it) However this series of Love Island just beats it. But both are addicting.

This is a good point, it’s really getting hammered as “the worst series ever”; but it’s far from that. People need to give it a chance bc it’s amazing imo <3

BB17 > Love Island 2

This year's harder to call. At the start, BB18 edged it, but I think it's flatlining now whereas Love Island is starting to peak. How they both end will determine which I preferred

Don't want to sound "heterophobic" but yeah the show is too straight-centric for me to watch and enjoy regularly. It's something for the straights to bond and have a giggle over I guess. The twist last night was good mind you.

I know there's hardly any gays on BB this year but the fact that they have at least one LGBT person pretty much every series and the premise of the show isn't based on straight people finding love just makes me feel like it's.... better? Idk how to explain it.

hmm it's probably the ongoing talk of hetro love, which I know is the point of the show, but i'll be able to deal with it if they had different forms of love like the gays

I know I don't watch Love Island but I actually kinda get their point? Like with BBUK and BBUS I just find myself so tired of the show trotting out straight showmances left and right and expecting me, a gay man, to be deeply invested. And say what you want about BBUK15 because god knows I've said plenty, but one of the redeeming qualities for me was that not only was there a gay showmance, but the straight HMs were accepting and almost even invested in it (even if it did involve Mark ****ing Byron.)
