We shouldn't have to respect our elders, respect should be earned. There are plenty of older people who do not deserve respect. However, for someone who demands respect, understanding and tolerance India is remarkably disrespectful to everyone else around her. She acts very petulantly

I am an older woman. I do not demand respect but would expect not to be harangued if I made a genuine (get it?) mistake and apologized for it.

I would expect not to have to be expected to listen over and over again to someone's life story, yet have them cut short any conversation I might be taking part in.

It comes down to treating others how you would want to be treated. Politeness and manners cost nothing, yet can take you a long way in life and India is a good example of how the opposite can also affect your reputation. She may have found her way professionally but personally she has a long way to go.

She is not the first to have a sex change or the only one. If she is so intent on speaking out about it then she should address the issues which make her so offputting to the same people she wants to become aware.

They all were totally supportive of her in the beginning but she is alienating them all now and no wonder. It is not that she is transgender causing the problem, it is India causing the problem herself.

It was such a ridiculous thing to say and embarrassingly childish.
If the viewers needed more reasons to dislike India, this was the episode.
