They reckon electric blankets are suppose to help
, but i've never tried one and you'd have to unplug it so it doesn't overheat causing a fire hazard.

I always found electric blankets a bit unsafe. There is a tendency to put one's full body weight on one as you turn in the night.

I used one 25 years ago when I was 10 and they had electric blankets that were meant to be kept plugged in during the night. I guess you're right, they won't be making those now. Too dangerous.

My Emma mattress keeps me warm, it was -6 last night and the heating is off till 7 on a sat and all i had was half a duvet on my middle bit and i was fine. Never have my feet covered as that is vile.
