I deliberately chose not to look at or read any advance listing of the pairings to enjoy the show more.

This is always good, I love the genuine interest to learn.

the reason AJ acted surprised when he got Lauren, was just because he was expected to get Katie, Stacey, Ashley one of those 3, but he definitely feels the Chemistry between him and Lauren, and they had a bit of training hours yesterday, he said he's Lucky to have long arms so he can support Lauren with her disability, and she will be facing him closer to his face, which is also good to show the Chemistry more on screen during the performances

she's going to Australia now for the competitions and she'll be back in time to rehearse for their week 1 dance, and no one leaves in week 1 anyway so at least not that added pressure either yet, and when they have to prepare for the week 2 dance she can put in all the training hours she'll need


and from the other celebs he likes Joe a lot, Joe actually inspired him to also make his own YouTube account, and doing some backstage vlogging for this years strictly


and he also had some nice words to say about Faye, that they (him, Lauren and Faye) had been seen going to rehearsals together

Joe has the jive

Vick also has the jive

Lauren has the waltz, confirmed yesterday by AJ on blue peter where he was the presenter beside Lindsey Russell, very traditional simple yet slow/romantic waltz


Faye has the cha cha


as for the others not much known yet but we will probably find out next week

yeah, but also Lauren & AJ are going for a simple yet beautiful/romantic waltz as their first dance


Lauren being world champion paralympic triathlon now really is a good positive confidence boost for going into strictly


i heard volta's being mentioned for susannah and anton, during strictly the best when they shown us training footage of this years line up, so maybe Samba for them in week 1, or a cha cha with some different cha cha techniques
