It isn't an insult to Trump, he won't care, it's an insult to the American people whom elected him as their President.

![]() If you'd have polled the British people (right, left, and centre) before Trump was elected, what they thought of Americans, then the overall opinions would have been mixed to say the least, but since Trump we must all worry about being more subservient.

Take Jeremy and Trump out of the equation, and do you really think most people give a crap about upsetting the American people?

I don't know, because people are different, I know that if our head of state (the Queen) was snubbed by Hilary Clinton, and protested by the American people, I'd find it insulting to our state.

The majority of the American people didn't want him. Doubt they care.

I think it's more of an insult to those who were at D-Day than anything else, as the anniversary is the purpose of his visit.

Remembering Kerry

Is any other Party leader going to this State banquet for Trump other than Theresa May.
This State banquet is not about D Day. There likely wouldn't be a State banquet if Trump wasn't here. I have no respect for Trump and don't believe he warrants it either in my view. Any political Leader refusing an invite to be at this banquet 'for him, does however gain my respect. |
