As far as her being loved by all, off the top of my head, i woud say amy, Tom, and Marvin disagree with that claim. Mauras entertainment value in the show i am watching has come from her role as playing the villian.

Maura is not girlfreind material. She is a freinds with benefits type at best and is one night stand material that you hope never figures out where you live or hang out at worst.

...I guess can understand why you would see Maura the way that you do...but I think for me, the first ‘telling’ thing was when Tom made his ‘money where her mouth is comment’...and she was so upset about that...?...that she’s someone who ‘adopts’ a confidence that she doesn’t seem to feel...it’s also been that in other comments she’s made...like how she imitated Francesca and her ‘poses’..to me, felt as though she just doesn’t feel that she can measure up to Francesca in some ways...?...she has such a vulnerability about her which I love..

...while also having such a strong character and humour to entertain...she’s kind of the perfect reality TV package in a beautiful covering for me...
