Pilgrim has so many meanings and connotations. The [what I assume] church bell kind of signals more of a religious element to the term pilgrim possibly?

Could even be Pilgrims/Puritans/Thanksgiving etc.

I'm pretty sure that they use different names for the series when they film, or at least they are working titles. I remember reading it somewhere that Hotel, Roanoke and Apocalypse had different tiles.

It could help circumvent the problem that most seasons run out of steam by the end since there won't be enough time (hopefully) for filler bull****.
