Trish was too quick to adopt a Me vs Them perspective. That alone will attract some haters. She didn't shy away from controversy. I don't think that is "bad" or anything but then again didn't fall for the woe is me narrative. She knew she would become a lightning rod by acting a certain way. Her base loved her for that dynamic otherwise they wouldn't have latched so hard onto her emotionally as there being "justice" behind a Trish win.

I was really shocked and disappointed to see Trish go last night but I think there is a logical explanation. Although I don’t dispute there was some deep rooted racism at the heart of how she was perceived by some people, which she explained really well on L&L about the ‘angry black woman’.

She was a well loved housemate but the votes of people who were her fans would have been split across all the others up for eviction, whereas anyone who was a fan of the garden gang would likely have directed all their votes to her. Had she been up against one or maybe even two others I believe she would have stayed.

….I’m a Trish fan and I was trying to figure it out yesterday, how Trish was such a predicted and favourite to go along with Chanelle…when all of the forum polls across the and other sites were showing a big gap between her and another housemate to be the second eviction…?…anyway, ho I saw it….?…is that in a way, it’s because she had huge popularity …?…and because it was a 5 split thing and because this was an opportunity, maybe a last opportunity to evict, when it was thought that if she stayed, she’d be a certainty to win…(seemed a mindset…)…then so many other fans/who are championing other housemates gave votes for Trish…anyway, it all made sense …maybe not how I’ve explained it and worded it but it made sense to me…

…just to say also, I don’t think this is the worst season….Deana Uppal and Aaron Allard Morgan seasons were the worst for me in terms of forum activity/hostility and every other ility…..

I really liked Trish to begin with but then my opinion changed (long before the blow up between her and Dylan) when I saw she was very sneakily putting out digs to her upstairs crew about Dylan and planting seeds against him ….
She began doing this after Dylan, quite rightly, pointed out that she shouldn’t have cooked and eaten all the lamb because it was meant for everyone. I know Jordan had a little.
Then, Dylan spoke to her again for having five pieces of chicken in one day when there had only been enough for hg’s to have had two pieces each due to the food shortage.
This is just two examples of my seeing a different side to her.

Trish created the viewers dislike of her all by herself.

The amount of posts I’ve seen of people purposely spelling her name wrong as a “joke” and telling her to go back to China is repulsive.

But no people definitely just dislike Trish for being “aggressive” and even then she isn’t that.

Trish divided opinion it's normal she was evicted, more liked her than didn't but more disliked her than disliked Jenkin, Olivia and Noky.

Noky probably has a few fans but I can't see many people voting to save Jenkin or Olivia, they survived because people were indifferent to them.

Off topic-ish, but I don't know why people use FB anymore if that's toxic. Because we sit there and constantly read that kind of material and allow the wounds to fester.
