I love it how every single Charley fan thinks the reason Chanelle hated Charley was because she was jealous of her. First of all i ask you how the feck could anyone be jealous of Charley and want to be like Charley. Secondly a hell of alot of other housemates also disliked Charley, were they all jealous and dreamed of being like the wonderfull person she is to?. Do you think there might be a slight possibility Chanelle hated Charley because Charley is a disgustung, self obsessed, arrogant muppet.

To me it seems the exact opposite. It was Charley who was jealous of Chanelle. Charley always made little comments about Chanelles appearence calling her a "ugly bitch" on numerous occasions. Chanelle got the guy, Charley didn't like it and it made her sick, because all Charley has is her appearence (or so she thinks).

The majority of the British Public hated Charley......just like Chanelle did, and i for one love the girl even more for realising what a horrible, nasty person she was and not being scared of her like many of the other housemates were.

When Pauline entered the house who was far better looking than Charley, did Chanelle have a problem with her? no, they got on pretty well, and Chanelle was gutted when she had to leave. Charley on the other hand resorted to slagging of her appearence and calling her a bitch as soon as she left.

but yes.....its definitely Chanelle who is the jealous one......

It wasn’t the fact that Chanelle was jealous of the person that Charley was, but the exposure and limelight what she was getting from being a bitch, thus taking the shine of her. Enter the arguments and constant bitching about her to every Tom, Dick and Harry within range. If as you say, Chanelle hated her for being this disgusting, self obsessed arrogant muppet, why didn’t everyone else act in the same manner as Chanelle and row with her over everything?

I don’t think Charley was jealous, she was just a bitch whose personality cries out for an argument, it’s her thing it amuses her, just like bitching and backstabbing might amuse another person. You said Charley called her an ‘Ugly Bitch’ but wasn’t it firstly Chanelle who started a vicious tirade about Charley in the diary room after she had one of her ‘great’ over exaggerations.

I think it will be interesting to see how Chanelle's jealous behaviour unfolds throughout this week and for people to see her for what she really is. She can no longer use Charley for the scapegoat of her actions (no doubt she will adopt a new scapegoat howver).

It was me who posted that, first of all thank you for taking time to think and write a decent post with valid points instead of just calling her a slut in and how much you hate her like most of the Chanelle haters do.

It could well be true that the reason Chanelle hated Charley was because Charley was getting all the limelight, but personally i dont see it that way. I think the reason why Chanelle had so many arguments was because Charley also hated Chanelle alot more than she hated any of the otehr housemates, and in my opinion she was jealous of Chanelle. So when you put 2 people together who both really dislike each other there is obviosuly going to be alot of bad blood. Charley argued with alot of other housemates but didnt really hate anyone or was jealous of anyone else as much as she was of Chanelle. In my opinion Charley was constantly having little digs about Chanelle and i dont blame Chanelle for reacting to them.

I think we’re going to have to agree to disagree, maybe Chanelle was jealous of Charley, and maybe Charley was jealous on Chanelle. Personally I think there was some from both housemates to a certain extent, obviously I’m going to say more so from Chanelle though because I’m not so keen on her! There’s no doubting there personalities clashed from the off and the ending was always going to be a war of words but we shouldn’t forget that Chanelle gave as good as she got.

As I said before, I think the real side of Chanelle is going to come out in the coming weeks and I don’t believe it’s going to be as great and perfect as everyone is trying to make out.

Chanelle did give as good as she got with her war of words with Charley and im glad she did, none of the other housemates did and just took Charleys abuse. The only difference is Charley had a war of words with pretty much every housemate and spat alot of horrible remarks where as Chanelle did not let any other housemates feel the force of her tongue which is quite bad if she gets wound up & wants it to be. (Ziggy might have felt it.......but in a different way)
