Ah well I knew Halloween wasn't setup to honour witches and ghosts etc, but that it came about because of different reasons...

Though I wasn't aware it was to do with overlapping worlds and stocking up.
Im sure if you educated more kids on that matter, and told them they were running around dressed like trolls in rememberance of two worlds, they'd take five minutes to stop and realise how strange what they're doing is, then just go ahead and dress up for the fun of it, and the money/sweets im guessing.

Would these two worlds be something to do with our world and "the otherside" or death, or is it something else?

I was playing Guild Wars lastnight, which is a MMORPG/ online role playing game for those that don't know...

And they've got a special Halloween event, where everyone meets up in the main town square and all the regular townspeople have fell under a curse from some "mad" king that turned them into the undead.

And they've put a massive Couldren in the middle of town the size of a house, and added a costume competition.

So there's just hundreds of people crowded around this big couldren in fancy dress, dancing around. Plus when you battle monsters some drop "Trick or treat bags" that have different alcohol in them, so you can get drunk lol.

Im only saying because it was quite impressive the detail they went into for Halloween.

Anyway...
