The two sisters were the Julies. The criple was the Virginia O' Kane. Jim Fenner . Helen Stewart. Crystal was a nutter lol. The three sisters where Maxie, Al and Tina. But only Maxie and Tina were sisters

And Hollamby was a wing govenor in series 8 too

The Julies weren't actually related no. Julie J's real name was Sonia Dawson. But because her and Julie Saunders where best mates she decided to change her name to the same as hers...a bit sad really lol.

Lol I loved Babs. Shame she left

Series 5 was a big let down for me. It really was end of an era

First the wonderful Shell Dockley left (which was pointless her returning for 4 episodes ). Then Karen left. Then Yvonne...oh..and Denny too. And Buki Lester and Babs...they all left that series. It was so sad

So many characters didn't get used as much as i thought. Mostly Frances Myers (the wing govenor) she came, was really good at her job...then she left? Find it hard to believe.

Anyone remember Snowball Merriman, the filmstar, aka Tracy who had done a few pornos?

I liked that show. It went a bit crap towards the end but the last episode was complete rubbish with the way it ended. I mean I'm all for a happy ending but it just made it even more unrealistic.

It actually wasn't meant to end there though...they was planning on doing a series 9...but low ratings for series 8 made them axe it.

I loved Snowball...although her storyline did drag on a bit come Series 5.

Its funny that, they axed it because the ratings were below 5 million which at the time was bad. Now look, they struggle to get anything above 4 million! Five should have picked up the rights to new shows as well as the repeats (and those of FW).

I think it started to lose its way when Yvonne was killed off, but series 6 was pretty good and the rest of the series managed to do well IMO but I don't think they would have ever topped series 3-5 (for me anyway).
