I thoroughly reccomend this ward to Rachel, my advice is get out of the house and walk in front of the first bus coming in your direction... soon you'll be feasting on grapes to your hearts content, as for me I'm sick of them now

What are the hospital meals like?

Everyone complains about them, but my mum LOVES them when she's in.

Oh they are fine, and there is a choice, today its been Roast beef or lasagne, and very well cooked and presented somewhere between the old school dinner tray and an in flight meal

It may look tacky but its not pokey looking small either... I'm in a ward with a lovely Chineese woman whos had all her meals sent by the restraunt her brother has, so its been like a take away service without need of a phone.
She's also off tomorrow, so we're all going to miss her
As for me I've been told I'm down to my last 20,000 grapes still to go before they consider letting me out, so I'm doing everything to try get ejected like throw the grapes at passing doctors, and flash my pink padded boob at all the visitors it might just work

Good luck! Finally getting it sorted, eh? Remember to drink lots of fizzy drinks (though not too much!) so that you have lots of sugar in your blood so you don't faint.

Thank you Lauren Yep finally after all this time. Can't wait but im quite nervous aswell as she said it will hurt. When i was getting it checked i fainted; which didnt make me feel good about actually having it done. So drinking fizzy drinks help? didnt know that. Will take you advise for sure!

The fizzy drinks thing was a thing I discovered myself after being a blood donor for a few years I used to always faint, until one of the nurses told me to drink some coke before the next time - and now I don't faint.
