I always listen to the slow version of "Heaven" by DJ Sammy with the little girl talking about how her dad died in 9/11 when this time of year comes along. I cry my eyes out.

I remember it clearly too.

It still shocks me to think that something of that magnitude actually happened - and I can count a few things that make me feel that way. It blurs the boundaries a bit between what's real and what isn't (e..g what's portrayed in films). It's so awful - RIP. It shocks me to think of some of the atrocities that go on the world, and even though I was 10 (pretty innocent age to be) when this happened - it made me wake up to that fact.

Same, I cannot believe it happened. I am still as shocked as I was 7 years ago to the day

There's a progamme on tonight called 'The 9/11 Faker' I'm going to give it a watch, the documentary on 9/11 and the 14 survivors last night was really good, some of the storys were shocking.

i watched a programme about 9/11 the other day and a father of a young fireman was talking about his speech at the funeral and he said " i didn't make a speech for today so i'll say what's in my heart" and all he said was " son i know you're in the angels arms but i'd rather have you in mine"

brought a tear to my eye! he looked so sad and emotional and his voice cracked at the end too! bless him!!
