All he has done is sleep and moan, he seems to be keeping his distance from the rest. He has no conversation, how can he say it is boring when asked what he thought of his first day. He should be the first one out

Default Spencer

What can I say?

Well, he has very sad eyes...........what is he doing in the BB house, either he is traumatised (already) by the whole thing or he is an odd type.

That said; could he be just shy (why apply if you are shy??)

Hang on in there Spencer - he'll do ok with fewer people.

Spencer soon noticed that the beer big brother gave them as part of their shopping list was in the wrong size bottles - they were smaller than it said on the shopping list!!!
Still not decided about him yet - he was sat by the pool for ages with Sandy and neither of them said much at all - Do they think this is the way to be to stay in the house??????? What are they doing there???
Do you really think Spencer might be gay????

When the others covered Spencer with toothpaste etc. Sandy said
"I did stuff like that when i was 15"
As Brian would have said "HOW RUDE!"

Oh, i like Spencer. give him a few days - he'll come out of his shell. Like I said - he looksso vulnerable, i want to wrap him up in blankets and feed him soup - he is obviously a bit homesick.

Seems to have found an ally in sandy....

I can't watch E4, but on the channel 4 show he just comes across as shy.

I'm still giving Spencer the benefit of the doubt as well. I thought he looked really scared on several bits of the C4 show last night. When he was sitting on the sofa he was fiddling with his hands nervously and they were shaking. He looked terrified. I think he is still conscious that the nation is watching his every move, he hasn't been able to relax yet.

I'm sure he will come out of his shell a bit later on and I think we should all give him a chance.

I watched it last night on Ch4 and him and Sandy were in the garden when the rest of them were doing Jerry Springer

They were sat in the same places lol

I like Spensor the quiet ones could do some damage, biding his time unlike Jade

I think he will do well

Spencer has seemed to be depressed most of the time from the word go. I think there is more to it than shyness. Real shy people don't go for Big Brother type experiences. I hope I am wrong but I don't think he will change.

It would not surprise me if he did a runner. It would be a shame if Jade was voted out and then Spencer voted himself out.

As much as I want Jade to go, I do agree with you on that bananarama.

I'm really surprised anyone shy could get through the auditions, I mean how would he have coped doing the group intervews. It's an interesting situation with him. Would be entertaining if he did a runner over the wall, that's if it's possible to get over.

On BBLB this evening they had a body language expert on and she said that he is basically an introvert.

That's why he's been put in the house, I think, because he's a different type of character to what has gone before. He isn't acting like you expect a 22-year old Big Brother housemate to act and, in my opinion, that's what makes him the most interesting person in the house at the moment.

He's intimidated by some of the outrageous antics by the more attention-seeking housemates at the moment. But he can interact with the others in small groups.

Anyway, I like quiet people.

I've a feeling though that the public might put up the two housemates from the opposite ends of the spectrum for nomination: Jade and Spencer.

Pity.

I'm not entierly sure if we are vote if for our favourite housemate (hence Kates early 1st) or for eviction on Friday (hence Spencer's new 1st place). Is there some confusion in the voters minds.......

I like the fact he's quiet, as has been said, he is biding his time. I think he's slowly becoming more of the group - I'm glad he wasn't mad upfront like Jade, I couldn't have coped if the house was full of Jades! You need all rounders, and i think Spencer is an all rounder.

He really cracked me up on the C4 round up with the toothpaste - the confused look on his face and the way he was scraping it along his arm had me and my brother in fits!!!

Bless 'im!

If he doesnt like that house he can come stay at mine....!

After tonights show i have to say he is still a little weird but perhaps thats because he's still a little shy but he is getting a lot better and it's nice not to see him on his own for a change!!!

I can't stand him either. I'm glad someone else feels like me, many people seem to like him a lot. He is good-looking but very boring. And he is shy, that's why he seems so arrogant: he is protecting himself. There's nothing wrong with being shy, but this is a reality tv show! Thank goodness Suanita finally left!
