I liked her
I think there was trouble with Mic's all night, everyone seemed really quiet. But her voice amazes me... she reminds me of The Cranberries... She really needs to sing this song next week, this will prove how talented she is!:

The Cranberries - Zombie

Edit: Well a week that the theme would fit!

I can see what you're saying Tom, but I think the reason for the hype is that she's really unique. I don't think she's going to win though, she's too far out for the general public to really 'get' but I think she'll maybe finish 5th/6th/7th (though I hope she does better)

When Diana sang last night I was totally caught up in her voice, its so soft and angelic and lovely.

She reminds me a little bit of Kate Bush with her quirkiness.

I love her

Yes the start was a bit wobbly but once she really got into it, it was great. She is one of my faves now.

IMO, they all started off wobby, but it was their first time singing live, so you can't really blame them.

Oh I wasn't blaming her. Far from it. I was just commenting on her performance. I thought they all did extremely well for their first live performance.

I like her BECAUSE she isn't a powerhouse.
It's nice to see someone show you don't have to be like the typical Whitney/Mariah to do well in a show like this.

I agree.

Also, Ross, she didn't wear shoes as she was afraid she would slip.

She's not weird. That's horrible!
She went on stage without shoes because she was scared she'd trip over. She doesn't seem like a 'heels' girl anyway since most other times we've seen her, she hasn't worn heels.

She's not the first person to go on stage without shoes; Sandy Shaw? EVEN Leona Lewis has performed barefoot before.

I don't care about Leona and who the hell is Sandy Shaw?

I never said she was weird, I said she's putting the weird act on. Acting as if she doesn't have a clue what's going on, she could wear flats? I hope they cleaned the stage for whoever performed after her. Bare foot on a stage, disgrace.

I agree Darenn.
And the fact he called her a tramp is beyond me.
Explain why she is a tramp?

She is Unique, Atleast you can say that about her than Typical Alexandra etc.

Although i do like Alexandra, i think its wrong to Judge someone fro not wearing shoes!

LMFAO

I don't think he meant weird in that way, but she does act like shes just stepped out of a space ship

I'm not reading through 2 pages of this thread because from what I've seen its just fans against fans.

But I agree. I don't see what's so special about her. She has a good voice, but the performance was just....meh. All she did was wave her hands and sing. I didn't get it.

I didn't say you had to care about her, I'm just saying that Diana is far from the first person to go barefoot on stage, so I can't see why you're targetting that. It's a bit pathetic, and comes across as if you're LOOKING for reasons to insult her. Sandy Shaw - Puppet On A String, Eurovision. Joss Stone's gone barefoot too.

How do you know it's an act? It's a bit funny that someone who's acting has been the same in every piece of footage we've seen
