A woman came to my door and sold me one! I always buy one. People died for our freedom!

Fair enough - what about the money that they make from selling the poppies?
Oh I give money, just don't get the poppy.

Poppies are an honour of respect and I believe everyone should wear one, at least on the day...

Watch out girl.

Poppies have opium within.

Opium can send you to sleep.

I saw it in the wizard of oz.

But when I walked into the perfume shop to buy my mum a present it was rather expensive.

Take it off.

It's nearly time for bed.

I dont want you to stab yourself with a pin.

Blood on white sheets really show up.

"and I'm not talking periods either"

Do some people still think they are glorifying war?

I did wonder with the war against terror, some might see it as related to that, even though it predates it by several decades

I always buy one and wear one, it is a mark of respect for those that fought to let us live the way we do today.

Some believe it glorifies war, hence some peace groups sell white poppies

I bought one today but I don't wear them, they annoy me and always fall off, and they never match my clothes

*sounds like such a woman*
