i'm nuetral as long as the smoker knows s/he is harming herself/himself ...if they do know , suit yourself , cuz i have tried to make addicts i know stop but trust me ,it's one thing to say it , another to convince them to actually do it .

Yes I agree. People tend to think smokers are dumbasses. We know what are the consequences of what we are doing. I personally never do that near children or old people and I don't respect people who do, it's nasty.
It's becoming an addiction at some point. And all addictions are getting nasty at some point. I'd rather smoking than killing people or being an alcoholic.

Shes in 50's shes been smoking since her 20s. Premature death, dieseases? trouble breathing umm shes had none of that, and she has a hip replacement so i can't ask her to run a marathon duh

What about the more accepted pastime of holding a bottle of alcohol? My uncle died of liver cirrhosis and I know a mate who moved in with another family due to his father having this little past time of getting tanked up on booze, coming home, and beating the living shit out of his wife.

Depends what you choose to demonise and how you choose to demonise it. I take personal hate of smokers from people who drink alcohol as a personal insult. And hey, for all the arguments of passive smoking, I cant kill anybody behind the wheel of a car because I am smoking a fucking cigarette.

I know non smokers like to entertain some sort of eternal life fantasy but at the end of the day, weighing up the social costs as well as the health effects, Smoking is like eating celery compared to a nation full of boozers.
