In just four short hours, 16 contestants will begin making their way into the Big Brother house. All we know is that eight of them are men, eight are women, and they're a mixture of mostly single, straight, gay, lesbian and bisexual people. None of the 16 will be official housemates until they take place in tasks specially designed by Big Brother, and these will truly test their determination. There will be no furniture on the first night, which Brian Belo tells us is an idea from another series of BB. "This comes from an idea first tested out in Australia where the housemates entered the house to find a lack of furniture!" he tells us. "It's interesting to see the successful twist taken on by the UK team, and I'm sure there will be lots of in-fighting as the new contestants attempt to make themselves comfortable this evening." Brain then admits, "I don't think I could have handled being in the house without any furniture, I love being in bed too much! Ask my Mum." Bless... Brian isn't the only one mega-excited about tonight – we're literally having to clench in the wee here! Everyone is saying that because of the empty house and sleeping on the floor, all the HMs will be depressed which will make it boring. But i hope that it doesnt bring them down and show BB that they wont be knocked down that easily.

If i was a HM i would be excited by sleeping on the floor and have as much fun as i could, and i would tell everyone to stop moaning.
