The title is over the top for a start.

Secondly, this obviously isnt some straight A student, he probs been winding him up for months, and was just pushed over the edge

Me and my mum were talking about it the other day, i wouldnt blame him if he just hit him.

Use of a weapon though is bad.

Children need to be put in their place imo, i could never be a teacher or id be in prison by now.

Edit: no pervert comments

wheyyy!! < insert pervy perv perv comments! >!

No I agree with you some kids really do push their luck. Obviously the weapon of choice is bad and maybe just a hit around the head or a ruler across the face would be acceptable. But yeah.. crazy stuff!

Everybody has a tolerance threshold. To use a weight and say "people are gonna die" though shows the teacher had serious issues. And his darling little pupils obviously did not help.

He was my form tutor for about 3 years and then taught me after that, yep. I left last year. Went to his hearing today to give him a card

I see he has been remanded in custody. He seems to have a lot of public support. I haven't seen a bad word said against him.

Yeah he hasn't applied for bail but they doubt he'd get it anyway. Both for his own safety and incase he does it again. I can't believe they're even using the latter as a reason, there's nothing to suggest he'd do it again.

It was a shame that not many people showed up at the hearing. I mean, lots of pupils are saying that they support him and stuff and didn't even show up.

There were soooo many cameras there though, getting in my face when I'm crying and stuff! Not fun but it was worth it for seeing him

It's hard to know what to believe in the papers. One rag is describing the victim, Jack, as a "little angel" today.

Welcome to the forum btw. I see you are new. What brought you here? Are you a BB fan?

It seems strange to think that a man who has no previous convictions whatsoever would suddenly, for no reason, allegedly 'attempt to murder' a 'little angel'.

and I joined cause I saw somebody had used an extract from an article with my name in it LOL.

Oh I agree. I don't think the public know the full facts behind this case yet. It's good to see he has public support and is not being made out to be a monster by the press, as they usually like to do.

I hope it stays that way As I said to the press today, I'll happily put my name against anything that's supporting him, but I don't want any quotes to be used in any articles or papers that are being mean

It is good to see people like you supporting him, however, I am not sure the outcome of this case will bode him well. I see he is due back in court on July 27.

Thanks! and yeah, he's appearing via video link apparently. I'm hoping to get a day off work to go. It's a shame he won't be there though because I'd like to see him again.

I really hope he gets the help he deserves

Hopefully he will. From what I have heard, it is completely out of character for him, and he seems to have been under a lot of stress recently, especially with suffering from a stroke.

He needed support and he still needs it now. Not that I condone what he did and I do hope the little kid gets well soon but every single person in that classroom is responsible for what happened and I hope they all feel guilty for what they've done.

Yeah. Anybody shouting, laughing or not trying to calm the dispute or whatever it was is partially responsible for what happened.

I don't really know what happened. There hasn't been mush said in the press apart from them singing that MJ song at him apparently and certain pupils swearing at him. Funny how a "little angel" would swear at a teacher huh?

"...Meanwhile friends and neighbours of stricken Jack - in a "serious but stable" condition at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre - claimed he was a polite boy who "wouldn't hurt a fly."

He is thought to have intervened in the row between the teacher and a girl pupil just before the attack happened.

Jack lives with heavily pregnant mum Claire in a modern townhouse in a quiet cul-de-sac in Worksop, Notts, with his two younger twin brothers.

A neighbour, who didn't want to be named , said: "I've been numb since I heard it on the news because it's just not like Jack.to be involved in something like this.

"He's a good quiet lad and I'm surprised that he is mixed up in this sort of thing.

"We've never had any trouble from him in the seven years that we've lived here."

The neighbour said Clare had sent Jack to All Saints School despite it being almost 15 miles away simply because it was such a good school and she wanted the best for her children. "

If I remember rightly, the quiet ones never tried to intervene in a row?

"Friends and neighbours" eh? That might not be the complete truth that they are saying. As I said, it is hard to know what to believe in the papers. It can often be a complete contrast to the facts of the matter. I would rather remain open minded. I just feel in this case there are circumstances surrounding it that the public are not aware of. These pupils are most probably not the innocent parties they are made out to be. I hope the truth comes out in time.

If he is a good lad why did he say
to that teacher
"******* Off and have another Stroke"

The papers today show he ain't a good Lad at all.
