The official Big Brother website has updated it's front page statement on the incident - firmly stating the show will stay on the air.

In the statement, Endemol Southern Star, BB producers and Network Ten reaffirm their commitment to producing Big Brother.

The statement also confirms all involved were pro-actively cooperating with Police and would cooperate with the Australian Communication and Media Authority should an investigation take place.

The OS confirmed the incident will not be broadcast on television.

I know it seems like I'm always against what you say but if you watched tonight's Daily Show you would have seen how Perry acted towards Camilla - Camilla didnt do ANYTHING and Perry went ****o.... Yes, she didn't want to press charges but it IS against the rules and BB decided to remove them, but it really isn't a good thing to do... at least on TV anyway.... well no, not good anywhere IF it isn't with friends

The weekend incident has placed Camilla as favourite to win the series.

Centrebet now has Camilla at $2.00 to win the series, overtaking David who is on $2.20.

In the first few weeks of Big Brother 2006, Camilla was ranked one of the least likely to win the series, however her odds have slowly been improving since.

Camilla's rating on the official website popularity poll has also skyrocketed over other housemates.
