If we don't sign any more midfielder I would like to see Ander and Pearson as our new look midfield next season. Whether we play 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 3-5-2 I think Pearson is ready like Januzaj. Van Gaal likes to bring through the youth players

I like shaw. Defo the few young england players that justifies their hype but 30m is too much.
I would of preferred we got Digne or RR.
But either way i guess shaw will become one of the best left backs in the world.

English players will always cost more. Liverpool are signing Lallana for 25m and he's 26 so when I see that I'm not as fussed over the fee really.

Shame to see the core of Southampton being ripped apart but at the same time its exciting times with the amount of £ they've made from it all.. should be able to bring in some great players with that.

£30 is ridiculous money for Shaw.. but it's over a long period so it'll be money well spent in the long run.. It seems like a bargain when you consider its only £5m more than Lallana too.
