Because 10 (or however many) z-listers don't like someone why is that going to change my opinion that i've had for years of that person ? If i let people like these shape my opinions then i would really have something to worry about!

That's kind of not what you were trying to say originally but ok, that's kind of obvious don't you think?

We don't have to live with them of course we take a different view. But I know for a fact I don't have to live in that house to know I wouldn't be an absolute bastard about Gary no matter how much he annoyed me. Because unlike some of the arrogant pricks in that house, I have respect for the elderly and people with special needs (a few in my family).

No, that doesn't give Gary free reign from criticism but the only thing coming out of their mouths is his hearing difficulty, an extremely pathetic reason for some of the vitriol being directed at him.

David tried to explain on BOTS and rambled about Gary's hearing problem and described it as "manipulation". If his hearing problem is the only thing they can use as evidence of that then I'm not convinced in the slightest.
