EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has revealed that Lauren Branning's final scenes will air next month.

It was announced last year that Jacqueline's character Lauren was being written out of the soap alongside Lorna Fitzgerald, who plays her sister Abi.

But while Abi's exit will air on Friday, January 19 when her family make the devastating decision to switch her life-support machine off, Lauren will be on our screens until February.

I am kind of annoyed that her return was just slapped onto the end of a random episode and in a scene with Ben Bloody Mitchell.

She should've been a Christmas/New Year return.

Although I did appreciate they didn't do the cliche... heels getting out of a car and panning up.

Having said that Tanya's return scene was iconic.
